today announced the completion of the merger of EasyLink with an indirect
wholly-owned subsidiary of OpenText.
The OpenText Cloud is immediately available worldwide and will service over 25,000 customers and 2 million end users for Infrastructure Services, Social Enterprise Services, Process and Data Services and SAAS-based Information Exchange; processing over 2 billion transactions a year. The OpenText Cloud is based on combined capabilities from OpenText and EasyLink.
In addition to the merger with EasyLink, OpenText Corporation has introduced an updated version of its Application and Governance Archiving for Microsoft SharePoint solution, dubbed version 10.5. The improved technology provides SharePoint users with one of the most advanced, integrated, complete content lifecycle solutions for managing SharePoint sites and mission critical business information across an enterprise.
Broadly viewed as the industry’s leading information governance solution for SharePoint, OpenText AGA 10.5 offers businesses powerful new features, including simplified navigation of large content volumes, enhanced archiving and compliance, stronger integration with OpenText xECM for SAP solutions, and support for Microsoft FAST Search for SharePoint.
