Hyland Software Makes Mobile Solutions Easier with Windows Azure

Hyland’s Mobile Broker for Windows Azure provides an additional implementation methodology for OnBase mobile users.

Hyland Software released its latest deployment innovation, Mobile Broker for Microsoft Corp.’s Windows Azure, to help customers more easily implement mobile solutions. Windows Azure is Microsoft’s cloud computing platform used to build, deploy and manage applications through its global network of datacenters. Hyland’s Mobile Broker for Windows Azure provides customers of its enterprise content management solution, OnBase, with an alternative implementation option for mobile solutions without the upfront investment in hardware.

Mobile Broker for Windows Azure allows customers using a Windows Phone, iPhone, iPad, Android or Blackberry to securely connect to OnBase through the Windows Azure platform. This reduces the need for IT departments to manage secure access connections between mobile devices and their corporate networks. For customers with over-burdened IT departments, Mobile Broker for Windows Azure will allow them to swiftly implement their mobile solution without additional IT resources.

Hyland is a member of the Microsoft Partner Network with an ISV Gold Competency. Since its inception, more than 20 years ago, Hyland has worked closely with Microsoft. OnBase uses numerous Microsoft technologies including .NET, Windows Azure, SQL Database and BizTalk Server and seamlessly integrates with many Microsoft products including Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Outlook.
